Welcome to Foxwood Kennel, home to both Australian Shepherds and Irish Wolfhounds. We are committed to our breeds; we've been involved with Aussies since 1983 and with hound breeds since 1977. Our primary focus is the mental and physical health of our dogs for longer lives.

We fully support open registration and reporting of all health tests and results. For the Aussies we breed in accordance withe the ASCA and AKC breed standards and we are an OFA CHIC and 10-Step participant and supporter.

Our love of dogs started with search and rescue work in Idaho. We actually met and got to know each other through this activity. My first two Aussies were back country search and rescue dogs. Mike's first bloodhound, Rebel and his mother Bonnie, set legal precedence in the State Courts of Idaho for the admission of bloodhound evidence.

Our current dogs compete in multiple venues, conformation, obedience, herding, tracking, coursing and agility. Sometimes these aptitudes cross over, we have coursing Aussies and a talented, herding (instinct tested) wolfhound.
